it feels like we never left. Everything feels routine again, even getting up and biking to school doesn’t feel like the drag I thought it would be. Summer vacation came and left like the wind, leaving no traces behind except the vague chances in the enviroment
I’m still half asleep in math class (soon to be full asleep), I don’t pay attention in history and I’m still trying to attempt passing Spanish with guesswork.
but now I get to try something I’ve never learned “professionally;” ceramics. I’m switching out of my Art 1 class (honestly, we’re being taught how to shade and colour different textures. I can do that. It’s like instinct for me, why am I wasting a whole year of electives on that? I wanna MOLD something), but the school doesn’t know about it. My schedule says I have period 2 study hall and period 12 art 1, but I’m going to be in the ceramics room, dirtying up my hands period 2 and doing my homework, stealing some art supplies (I still have the pretty colour crayon I took from the art room last year) and continuing my half started project. Can I still put that I took ceramics for college? As far as the school knows, I’ve never taken it.
I need a break.
